The calendar may have turned to a new week today, but it’s not changed the fact that today has also seen a flood of new albums in the market. In this case, let me at Yesmovies recommend five new albums that were released today and are worth your attention.
Bleachers – Bleachers
It must be noted that the self-titled album of the band Bleachers, which’s led by producer Jack Antonoff, is dedicated to the 80’s, love, and 80’s backward feelings. This is the fourth studio album of the New Jersey based group, which further proves his creative veins and his knack of evoking positive and depressing feelings at the same time.

CocoRosie – Elevator Angels
CocoRosie’s new release is the lengthier than usual five track EP titled Elevator Angels. This is the 5th EP of the French-American acid folk duo formed in 2003. In this release, the sisters Bianca and Sierra invite with them the pianist and composer Gael Rakotondrabe and perform their songs in the form of gentle and soft acoustics.

Juliana Gattas – Make Up In Bed
Make Up In Bed is the first self-titled album of Juliana Gattas of Miranda! released Oswald, Jose Igacio, written and produced by Chilean artist Alex Anwandter. It’s obvious that to Gattas, her collaboration with Anwandter over the years has borne fruit in a work that is original and makes a departure from the rest of the pop genre. The LP developed over discussions in which Alex mentioned how he wanted to make a “disco diva” record for her as he clait. Make Up in Bed, Julian Gattas.

Kim Gordon – The Collective
The collective is the second solo album from Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon. “I wanted, on this album, to communicate the total insanity I can sense surrounding me at the moment. Isaiah says this is a period of complete speculation because it is hard to define what, at the moment, is the truth, for facts do not always hold wooing power over people, and everyone has their viewpoints which contribute to wiping that paranoia free space,” she shares.

Cops and Robbers – Take Shape
Take Shape is the newest release by the Mexican group Cops and Robbers which features their distinctive power pop and distorted guitars. The new mini EP features four tracks, including the borderline instrumental, where the duo explores the cliches revolving around and including the daily life, aging etc, and some other ideas.
