Recently it was announced that the world will get a biographical film about Bon Scott, one of the famous musicians from AC/DC. The movie which bears the name The Kid From Harvest Road will have Australian production houses Halo Films and Protocol Pictures as partners, and the main star is already picked up. Lee Tiger Halley, who starred in the series Crazy Fun Park, Boy Eats Universe (Netflix) and The Heights, will play the legendary vocalist.
As mentioned in Halo Films, it will start filming in 2025, and it will show the viewer a touching Scott’s tale. “His journey from a troubled young man much loved to a great artist is a tale spun in magic and passion,” they stated. The aim of the producers is to maintain the memory of Scott and motivate the audience of the “other side of music and will.”
Stephen Belowsky, who is set to co-direct the project with David Vincent Smith, “I consider myself relatively new to BC not only culturally but socially. It paints a teenage portrait of Bon Scott this time and from a different perspective where I focus on something very personal.”
Bon Scott Facts: Bon Scott departed this world on February 19, 1980, aged 33, due to excessive drinking. After the death of Scott, AC/DC looked for another singer and his place was taken by Brian Johnson, who is the current lead singer.
