Ewan McGregor plays a Russian count who is imprisoned in the attic of the hotel this week’s first trailer for the forthcoming 8-part series ‘A Gentleman in Moscow’ Show. The series is set to launch on Paramount+ on March 29 while its possible launch on SkyShowtime has been reported for March 31 but is still unconfirmed for Spain.

The series is based on the amor towles best selling novel entitled, count aerial host or so, the character portrayed by McGregor in the series after his first tv appearance since Obi-Wan Kenobi in the episode of star wars. Due to his noble lineage, he cannot escape history, which is why the Soviet regime is so appealing. To retain the history of his country against the Russian revolution’s rule, So he is put in the opulent Hotel Metropol for the rest of his life and told that if he exits, he will die.
As time elapses, while many key world events take place outside the boundary of the hotel, it compels Rostov to take his life on an emotional as well as a personal quest.
A Chronicle of Togetherness and Progress
Rostov, within the walls of the hotel, starts from scratch discovering what friendship, family, and love mean. Also in the cast of actors it is noisisi Mary Elizabeth Winstead (McGregor’s wife) who plays the beautiful actress Anna Urbanova, Alexa Goodall who acts the role of a count’s young friend Nina, Johnny Harris who portrays a distressed secret policeman called Osip, and Fehinti Balogun who takes on the role of Mishka, the count’s close friend in university.
The other members that constituted the ensemble cast includes Leah Harvey, Paul Ready, John Heffernan, Lyès Salem, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Dee Ahluwalia, Anastasia Hille, Daniel Cerqueira, Leah Balmforth, Billie Gadsdon and Beau Gadsdon.
A Gentleman In Moscow is co-produced by Lionsgate Television and Paramount, with the latter serving as the production company for the show. Executive producer and the show runner is Ben Vanstone. This series is the first project under the deal of lionsgate and Popcorn Storm Pictures. Sam Miller directs some of the episodes and he is one of the executive producers while Sarah O’Gorman is said to have worked as a director.
