Despite its low key launch on the March 1, Furies has become one of the most popular shows on Yesmovies, coming second only to Entrevías in viewership in our country. All that with fairly little to no promotion from the platform! It is quite a feat regarding the fact that the series did not even get much promotion from the platform. But then again, the show has got all the ingredients needed to thrive.
Furies depicts the violent Parisian scene through the eyes of the protagonist Lyna who seeks vengeance for her father’s death. The character of the young Lyna, played by Lina El Arabi, pushes the narrative as she struggles with tremendous emotional and psychological distress throughout the series.

This apparently eases herself into a physical showdown with the Fury network presided over by Marina Foïs. So, who is the Fury? She is employed as a top negotiator in Paris for organized crime and naturally, Lyna has to play along and work in her service while plotting how she will get even.
What unfolds is an action-packed, elegantly crafted series with two highly convincing protagonists. Matthieu Kassovitz, Steve Tientcheu, Quentin Faure, Jeremy Nadeau, Sandor Funtek, Anne Azoulay, and Eye Haïdara also star alongside Arabi and Foïs.
The series credits Jean-Yves Arnaud and Yoann Legave as co-creators, with Quoc Dang Tran (The Drops of God) as screenwriter and Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (Kate) as director.
