The post-rock band Tortoise from Chicago is all set to make a comeback in Argentina! The American band is set to perform at Niceto Club (Cnel. Niceto Vega 5510, CABA) on May 13. Tickets are still unavailable.
As per the announcement shared on the quintet’s social media, this special performance will be devoted only to the third studio album of the band, TNT, which is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year.
Tortoise in Argentina
This is Tortoise’s 4th visit to Argentina, the band’s last performance in the country took place in a bowling center in Palermo back in the year 2016. Their first two shows were done in 1999 and 2011 respectively at La Trastienda.
The band has revealed in an interview back in 2016 ‘That in the tours of South America, most of the time there is so much tiredness that the rest of the normal life is only during those 2 hours a day when a show is happening… and the rest of the time can be quite distressing.’
